«№ 14» — a project about how things nobody has ever described live under the names given to them at home.
Every museum object is always documented: it has a number, a signature, and a card in the collection. Household items exist without this documentation: a Christmas ornament from the sixties sits in a box in the attic, and no one can describe it but the owner. The work applies the protocol of museum documentation to such an object—the item is shot frontally with a direct flash, placed in the field of the inventory card, the fields are printed, and the content is handwritten. In the name field, there is the name by which the family called the ornament—a fox, even though it is a squirrel.

The project was completed as part of the Final Qualification Work—a service that transforms a personal collection into a catalog complete with numbers, captions, and descriptions.
