COLLISION OF THE CLASSIC CANON WITH THE AESTHETICS OF MODERN ALIENATION
Marble, as a symbol of absolute form and immobility, yields to fabric—a material that is unstable, pliable, and unpretentious about eternity. Camouflage, initially created to dissolve into space, paradoxically transforms into an instrument of manifestation.

Stripped of its religious context, the «Pietà» loses its status as a relic, yet it retains the tension of its primal form. Here, the biblical narrative is secondary to the anatomy of loss itself—a phenomenon that exists beyond any specific faith, time, or ideology.

The sacred turns out to be imprisoned in a language of cruelty. The image no longer offers redemption or solace—it exists as a residue of something that once possessed absolute meaning, and now remains only in form.
