«Assemble”—a project composed of several puzzles, each containing numerous unique pieces that fit into a cohesive whole. The project combines wood and recycled plastic, creating striking visual and tactile contrasts.
Concept
I wanted the interaction with one or more objects to be sustained and engaging. My main sources of inspiration were puzzles and board games.
Materials
I used various types of plywood and plastics—polyethylene (plastic lids) and polylactide (leftovers from 3D printing).
