Concept
The project idea emerged while working on an educational cluster whose interior features a significant role played by exposed structural elements, concrete, and rebar. I was interested in transferring this architectural aesthetic to an everyday object, so I chose socks as the medium. Their light gray color references concrete, and the fine black line running from the toes to the cuff resembles a reinforcing bar. Thus, this familiar item becomes a small extension of architecture, preserving the visual language of the space.
