BIRD BLITZ is a birding festival focused on identifying bird species, which will be held in the natural parks of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. Over several days, participants photograph plants, animals, mushrooms, and other inhabitants of nature, and then upload their findings to the international platform iNaturalist.
The festival will engage city residents in shared cultural recreation, provide scientists with a snapshot of the state of nature, and create a sense of celebration for nature and life!

A grid, composed of vertical columns, is used for laying out graphics and text, and this grid is supported by labels that reference the semantics of the time period during which participants create their photographs.

A series of illustrations conveys the semantics of increasing data on wildlife populations as each new photo is uploaded to the digital environment.
The «Birds Blitz» Photo Safari Festival is a grand research adventure where everyone can become a scientist and help study the biodiversity of their native region, whether you are an experienced naturalist or simply enjoy walks in nature.
