A tool for ambient live performance where vocal pulses form an evolving and shifting soundscape.
The idea of beats is realized at different levels: unison for each voice, phase shifts, crossfading of different voice pairs—resulting in a shimmering cluster.

Phase shifts (LFO phase) of the voices occur at frequencies corresponding to prime numbers (1/47, 1/17, etc.). This prevents the soundscape from cycling in a loop for long periods.

Vocal frequencies are often found as ratios of whole numbers relative to a base frequency (f * 31/52). These ratios are utilized in just intonation and microtonal tuning systems and allow for a more consonant «shimmering» effect. These same ratios govern the crossfade of voices.
The patch includes a keyboard from the ELSE library, which can be used not only as an ambient drone but also as a synthesizer.
