Kintsugi Sound is a festival dedicated to glitch ambient music.
The project is based on the Japanese technique of Kintsugi, where cracks in broken pottery are filled with gold, transforming a flaw into a part of its history. I transposed this metaphor onto sound. Typically, in production, digital noise, glitches, and artifacts are eliminated, but here they become the primary expressive medium.
