Through deformation and grotesque, the fluidity of the boundary between human and animal is explored.
The project is based on an exploration of the culture and ritual traditions of the Khanty and Mansi, specifically the symbolic role of the bear in their ritual practices. The lenticular postcard becomes a space of visual transition—as the viewing angle changes, one image gives way to another, transforming the very process of perception into a metaphor for metamorphosis.

The reverse side is designed as an archival postcard, referencing ethnographic collections and the geography of Western Siberia.
