MIST — a web synthesizer disguised as a humidifier. Water droplets, chimes, and steam sounds resonate in a slow, unified tempo, with the interface mimicking a standard household appliance remote. The instrument evokes a sense of Zen: a minute of silence, steam, and rhythmic sound, reminiscent of a tea ceremony or the end of a yoga practice.
