NEON SYNTH — is an interactive virtual musical synthesizer created in Cyberpunk and Retro-futurism aesthetics.
The project concept integrates modern web technologies, electronic music, and futuristic design. Users can independently create and experiment with sounds by selecting various waveforms, adjusting ADSR envelope and filter parameters, playing a virtual keyboard, and observing sound fluctuations in real time. The application also includes playback of a demo melody and the ability to record personal performances.
I decided to create the NEON SYNTH synthesizer in the Cyberpunk and Retro-futurism style because I wanted to merge the theme of electronic music with the aesthetic of the digital future. I was inspired by the atmosphere of neon cities and the musical equipment featured in 1980s science fiction films. I chose a deep purple background with bright pink and blue accents to evoke the feeling of a futuristic music studio. I wanted the interface to resemble a genuine analog synthesizer, so I incorporated controls resembling physical knobs, a virtual keyboard, and an oscilloscope. The core concept is to create not merely a musical instrument, but an extraordinary interactive space where the visual style complements the sound-creation process and conveys the atmosphere of a technologically advanced future.
