NEREIDA TIDE — a decorative trinket dish inspired by the shape of a seashell and the movement of water.
Concept
The object’s idea is based on the metaphor of the sea as a natural guardian of treasures. Like shells that protect pearls, the dish becomes a space for storing jewelry. Its asymmetrical, fluid shape conveys the movement of water and the natural asymmetry of marine formations. The surface resembles the interior of a shell, changing hue depending on the light. The object reinterprets a natural form into a functional item, merging the aesthetics of marine organic life with the daily ritual of jewelry storage.Sketch
