The internet was not filled with generated images and videos. But even then, in the field of author’s animation, there was a love for the uneven, the rough, the crooked, and the lively.

It is not only the world of author’s animation that appreciates and loves the trace of man-made labor. The commercial major animation rental was delighted with the cartoon style of Tom Moore, who did not strive for a perfect line. Moreover, the authors of this work intentionally left the auxiliary lines of the artists in the final shots. A vivid example is the 2020 cartoon «WolfWalkers».
