«Snow White: The Apple of Discord”—a full-scale acrylic portrait based on the animated comic by PrincessS. In the comic, four fairy-tale princesses decide to divide the kind Prince Charming, sparking a royal fight, only to realize in the end that he isn’t worth the battle. Snow White here is one of the most aggressive characters. Her doll-like appearance, large bow, and voluminous collar conceal a quick-tempered and self-absorbed nature, while the apple in her hand immediately reveals her fairy tale and character. The portrait is built on this contrast: a sweet doll with a heavy gaze. The checkered lilac background with a yellow grid evokes a character selection screen from a fighting game and ties together a future series of portraits of the other characters. The glossy acrylic enhances the shine of the apple, lips, and eyes, and the 100×150 cm format transforms the heroine into a major interior focal point—the character emerges from the comic and becomes part of the space.
