Concept
The postcard connects the «Tereshka’s Wedding» ritual with the modern path of separation. In the past, the dance allowed young people a chance, even in a playful manner, to assert their own choices; today, this is aided by mindfulness and work on personal boundaries. In both cases, the individual strives to break free from the script written for them and become the author of their own destiny.
The heroine breaks away from the prescribed script and chooses her own path. The lenticular image transforms her movement into a symbol of transitioning from predestination to autonomy: destiny changes when a person begins to choose for themselves.
