RNwave — a web synthesizer with the character of rock and grunge. Two harmonized voices—a dense bass and melodic chords—are augmented by drums. The user can adjust their timbre, attack, decay, and effects. Repeating bass riffs, syncopations, and chord accents create drive, while the overdrive adds a grunge grit to the sound. The settings allow switching from a clean, deep bass to a heavy, saturated sound. Large knobs and a high-contrast interface evoke guitar pedals and amplifiers.

The instrument consists of three blocks: two vocal modules and a central controller. The first voice forms the bass foundation, while the second adds the melodic part. They operate in the same key and tempo, maintaining different rhythmic patterns. In each module, four waveform shapes are available. Sliders control volume, filtering, attack, and decay. Knobs adjust overdrive, sub, note onset accent, part variation, and sound sustain level. The voice settings are independent. The central block unites the voice 1 and voice 2 selectors, a total signal visualizer, and five drum pads.

Voice 1: bass oscillators and sub → Attack, Sustain, and Release envelope → Drive overload → Cutoff filter → chorus and delay → volume → pan left.
Voice 2: melodic line oscillators → dedicated envelope → Drive overload → Cutoff filter → chorus and delay → volume → pan right.
Drums: five instruments → individual levels → drum bus.
All sources feed into the master output: summing → compression → peak limiting → stereo output.
