→ A generative musical instrument built around themes of depth, current, and underwater space.

The instrument consists of two sonic layers—Surface and Deep. The first is responsible for the lighter, surface-level sound, while the second provides the deep and sustained layer. The music is not pre-recorded: the instrument generates new variations during performance.
→ Surface Synth / Deep Synth
The tool is based on two independent synthesizer voices. Each one can be controlled by: Volume, Detune, Pan, Frequency, Wave Type.Four wave forms are available: Sine, Square, Triangle, Sawtooth. The Surface is additionally controlled by the Current parameter—the Depth parameter. Depth affects the duration of the sound and is simultaneously displayed in the interface as depth in meters.

→ Generative System
Surface Synth and Deep Synth independently generate patterns based on the overall D minor pentatonic scale. Constraints on note selection and movement allow for different, yet musically cohesive, variations.A separate rhythmic layer is generated: Kick, Snare, Hat, Texture. The music is organized in 32-step loops. A new variation is created after each loop is complete.

→ AI and Prompt Design
AI was used as a tool for technical realization for constructing audio architecture and generative logic, linking interface elements to sonic parameters, realizing visuals in HTML/CSS, and debugging code. The work was built through iterations of prompts, supported by the chosen concept and references.Initially, the concept, two voices, and interface constraints were defined—followed by audio routing and effect chains, music generation rules, and the connection between UI controls and sound. Subsequent iterations refined specific parameters, stereo routing, and the structure of the final code.
