We often notice the result of homework, but not the effort behind it.
This illustration continues my project, «Second Count,» which explores invisible labor in partnerships. I wanted to show how common household tasks conceal work that we don’t always notice.
I created an illustration in Krea3. It features a flower in a pot and the blurred silhouette of a person watering it. The flower is in the foreground, and the person almost dissolves into the background—this is how I convey the idea of unseen labor.

I chose the 30×40 cm format so the work feels like a small interior object that invites close inspection. It was important to translate the concept of invisible labor from an interactive project into everyday space—a space where the artwork becomes a constant reminder of the unseen effort behind routine tasks. The glossy acrylic lends depth to the image, and the concealed mounting creates a hovering effect against the wall.
