The «Signs Everywhere» series of works explores the familiar, everyday visual forms of urban life—signs, transitions, bicycle couriers, railings, and building facades draped with construction netting. All these objects have become ingrained in our visual perception, and I found it fascinating to assemble the visual patterns of urban existence, connect them in the most random way possible, and place them onto a single plane within the loosely defined backdrop of the city.

What makes a place a contemporary and understandable city for the viewer? In my series, I attempted to present elements of urban scenery in dialogue with each other and their inhabitants. Who are they, where are they going, and what do they feel? Or do they simply exist as necessary attributes of urban settings—like background NPCs (Non-player characters) that create the illusion of a complex, living world but lack individuality?
