I often perceive poetics in things that appear aesthetically devoid at first glance. Industrial objects can evoke nature. Furthermore, ordinary faces, objects, and spaces can contain a special, almost religious feeling. Vigilance, or rather attentiveness—like a photographic technique—a tense focus extracts sacred imagery from the surroundings.
