Project Description
ACID BLUE — a web synthesizer built with Tone.js exploring coldness and anxiety. Two voices contend with each other: the low hum of ACID sounds like an alarm, and the high chime of BLUE sounds like shattering glass. The sound is generated solely through synthesis, without recorded samples. The voices are distributed across channels: ACID on the left, BLUE on the right. Four notes form the Em7 chord, allowing them to be used in any combination to build a composition from silence to collapse.

Concept
ACID BLUE — a tool for a single statement, not a universal synthesizer. It sounds like a cold space where anxiety builds.
ACID — anxiety: a low hum with distortion and echo, like a signal you can’t turn off.BLUE — glass: a high, clear chime that lingers in the reverberation.

Prompt Design
I collaborated with AI (Claude) to create the ACID BLUE synthesizer around the concept of «anxiety and glass.» I took it in small steps. First, I established the constraints: only synthesizing with Tone.js, no recorded sounds. Then, I selected cold notes that evoke anxiety and the ringing of glass, replacing the note C with G so that all the notes formed an Em7 chord. I prototyped the design in Figma, then linked Figma to the AI, and the layout rendered to exact specifications from the prototype.
Example Prompt:«I’ve connected the Figma connector. Open the file 'AP — synthesizer', there’s a frame called main-claude. Work only in that frame and make everything exactly like the mockup.»
