The work is inspired by the aesthetic of jazz—specifically, the historical link between jazz and the abstract expressionism of Jackson Pollock and his «drip» technique. I wanted to convey the chaotic energy of my set using sharp, abstract brushstrokes and silhouettes of jazz performers.
