The «Fabrics» project involves developing landscape design improvements in Kronstadt. The photograph was created based on a walk through the Petrovsky Dock ravine area.
The image conveys the atmosphere of this place—its scale and the profound sense of tranquility experienced while walking through it. Mist envelops the space, softening the contours of the trees and architectural forms. The metal decking of the path guides the viewer into the depth of the landscape, while the silhouettes of people accentuate the surrounding environment’s scale. The reflection of the sky in the water, the muted tones of the vegetation, and the soft morning light combine to create a feeling of silence and seclusion.
